Brakes (Nanotec)

The Nanotec holding brakes have a compact flange design and asbestos-free friction linings. They are wearresistant and easy to install thanks to their pre-adjusted air gap. For releasing, all brakes require a voltage of 24 V. Integrated brakes with a connector plug are also suitable for operation in harsh environmental conditions (IP54) and allow quick and error-free wiring.

The Nano brake module (PWM controller) reduces the power and heat losses of the brake by 35%, thus increasing the running time and the service life of the motor. An external anti-surge diode is not required.

Please note: The brakes can only be ordered with a motor.

BRAKE BKE

In the BKE brake, the braking force is applied by means of a permanent magnet. To achieve the maximum braking force, it is necessary to break in the brake before the first use and then at intervals of max. four weeks.

Recommendation: Allow the motor to run at a speed of 200 rpm with the brake released, then apply the brake five times for 0.5 s.

Please note: The BKE brakes can only be ordered with a motor.

BRAKE BWA

With the BRAKE-BWA, Nanotec offers an electrically operated spring-loaded brake with an extremely compact design for use as a static holding brake. It can be mounted directly to motors with a shaft diameter of 5, 6.35, or 8 mm. If the motor has a long B shaft, an encoder can also be mounted directly on the brake. As the brake comes with threaded holes, no additional adapter plate is necessary. Available in two lengths.

Please note: The BWA brakes can only be ordered with a motor.
