Correction of coordinates X, Y, Z (CAPTRON)

CAPTRON TCP measurement technology for industrial robots ensures maximum precision for tool calibration with a reproducibility of 0.01 mm. TCP (tool center point) series laser measurement units from CAPTRON for exact measurement/robot calibration are used in industrial automation applications worldwide, such as in dispensing technology, bonding technology, welding technology, soldering, and the food industry.
TCP measurement units for industrial robots reliably detect both metallic and non-metallic objects. Incorrect measurements due to reflecting laser beams can be prevented since the X and Y-axes are measured at staggered intervals.
Whether extremely compact, flat, or open: CAPTRON offers a wide range of different TCP measurement unit models. Integrated fitting holes enable precise positioning in series production. An optional slave connection with M8 connector enables an additional sensor to be connected and supplied power.

Advantages:

  • TCP measurement technology: Precise correction of the X-, Y- and Z-axes
  • Space-saving construction: Extremely compact, flat, or open design
  • Precise alignment: Fitting holes for exact positioning
  • Easy assembly: Minimal wiring required, one-piece design
  • Additional options: Protective shroud preventing damage or contamination, slave connection for additional sensors
