Iwaki magnetic driven chemical pumps MX/-F series

Mag drive pumps for difficult operating conditions with high efficiency

An improved mechanical construction allows the operation under extreme difficult conditions and reduces as well as operating costs and maintenance work. The MX series represents the latest state of the art design for mag. drive plastic pumps. With the experiences gained of previous generations these pumps were developed to resist abnormal operating conditions. When fitted with a carbon bearing brief periods of dry running are possible.
When fitted with a carbon bearing, the MX will allow for brief periods of dry running. The new “self radiating structure” (patent pending), in addition to the existing proven non-contact principle with front and rear supported spindle, greatly improves the ability to withstand cavitation and running against a closed discharge valve.

2-parts volute casing
The MX series is the first mag. drive plastic pump with a 2-parts front and rear casing. These form a perfect vortex chamber, preventing internal leakage (patent pending). Simple and tough constructed, easy to maintain with superior chemical resistance are the main features of this series.

Self radiating structure (int. patent pending)
Through the heat dispersion holes, between impeller and magnet capsule, the liquid is forced to circulate around spindle and bearing. So the generated heat can be reduced effectively to prevent thermal deformations.

The MX pumps are highly recommended for the use in many productions processes such as filtering, spraying, cleaning and etching for surface treatment.
Split Volute casing (patent pending) The MX Series is the first resin magnet pump that uses a split volute pump casing that forms a vortex chamber.
